2016-03-07 TPW 6.2  is available for free download. This version fixes some minor layout bugs only.

2015-04-01 TPW 6.1  is available for free download. This version fixes some formatting bugs sometimes spoiling

readability of results and comes with improved plausibility checks for detecting absurd user inputs.

2015-03-06 TPW 6.0  is available for free download. This version supports almost all European standard

ports except for Iceland and Norway and has undergone some revisions for improving usability.

2014-09-01 TPW 5.2.2 (fixing Bug #2) is available for free download. This version checks for additional

bounds of input values to cope with the most frequent user mistake, viz. using "." instead

of "," as the decimal separator. EXCEL accepts such an ill-formed input and converts it to a

well-formed one. For instance, EXCEL uses "41700" upon an attempt to insert "2.3" (instead

of "2,3") into a cell (which then is rejected by the TPW as the bound check fails).

2014-07-02  (Bug #2; Section 4) If only the (consecutive) tides LW₁ and HW₂ are given, "Required input:

Provide Time of HW₁ or LW₂ at Pt " is displayed in the System Log and "No tide" is shown

for "Time HW/LW at Pt" even if "Time req. at Pt" is in the time interval given by LW₁ and HW₂.

A similar bug occurs if only the (consecutive) tides HW₁ and LW₂ are given. This bug does not

spoil calculations but rather represents an inconvenience for the user to provide more data

than required for the actual calculation.

2014-04-07  TPW 5.2.1 (fixing Bug #1) is available for free download.

2014-02-23  (Bug #1; Section 4) If HW and LW times are negative (i.e. both are displayed in red colour), then

heights and trend of tide are displayed inverted in the fields for Heights [m] & Trend of Tide. For

instance, read 1,89  8,38  if 8,38  1,89  is displayed (and vice versa). However, subsequent

calculations are not spoiled by this bug.

2014-02-10  TPW website launched. TPW 5.2.0  is available for free download.
